Bogor (1975 First Edition)

Description
Bogor by Burton Silver. Burton Silver was born in Wellington. He attended Wellington Boys' College, to the apparent benefit of neither, and later did a B.A. at Victoria University where he duly left his mark, now unfortunately painted out. Thus equipped he became a boilermaker's assistant on Groote Island, Northern Territory, Australia. A circuitous journey through Asia in a misguided search for mystical bliss left him, after briefly advising the Indian Army on ski manufacture, teaching English and practicing self defense in a large London comprehensive school. Later, while living by the Umbawarrah River near Darwin, he met a lonely little woodsman and a hedgehog who promised to bring him fame and fortune if he took them to New Zealand. The rest is - as they say - history.
