Description
Songs From Books by Rudyard Kipling. This special edition was produced as a book prize for Firbank Church of England Girls' Grammar School, Brighton, Melbourne, Australia. The front cover has a Gold Crest of the school and shows the school's moto 'Vincit Qui Se Vincit'. ("She conquers who conquers herself"). The leather bound book has marbled end pages and marbling along the page edges. A book prize/gift label is stuck on the inside front page dated Xmas 1930. There is a small chip on the top edge of the spine but overall a tidy copy.
