Description

The St. John Ambulance Association, Its History, And Its Part In The Ambulance Movement compiled by N. Corbert Fletcher. In the year 1877 the Order of St. John decided to form the St. John Ambulance Association to train men and women in First Aid to minister to the sick and wounded in war and for the benefit of the civil population in time of peace. This book covers the history of this important organization from 1877 through to the late 1920s. The book has been covered by clear plastic which has left some tape ghosting and a small tear on the back inside page but overall the book remains in a very tidy condition. Previous owners name or inscription on inside front page.
