Description

Thoughts and Adventures. A volume of twenty-three essays, largely reminiscent and autobiographical in character, revealing Mr. Churchill's wide range of interests and experiences. Many of the papers touch on the lighter side of grave affairs, but this cannot be said of those such as Shall We All Commit Suicide? and Fifty Years Hence, in which Mr. Churchill, with his uncanny prophetic touch, utters warnings of dangers threatening Civilization. The dust jacket is in a poor condition with large chips missing and wear to all the edges (now covered by Mylar). The book remains tight and bright.
