Description

Everyman's Classical Dictionary 800 B.C. - A. D. 337 by John Warrington. Considerations of space and the convenience of students suggested that the term 'classical' should cover a period beginning with the most common accepted date of Homer (late eight century B.C.) and ending with the death of Constantine (A.D. 337). The same consideration led the editor to employ the term as having reference to pagan Greece and Rome. The dust jacket has light to medium general wear but the book remains in a tidy condition.
