Description
White for Danger by David Stevens. The White Hell of Antarctic is one of the most desolate regions in the world. The Great explorer the sole survivor of the last expedition there, is accused of leaving his companion to die. The Lost City under the ice is the uncanny mystery which the expedition has seen and for which their lives had been sacrificed. David Stevens was born in Winnipeg in 1933. He left school at the age of sixteen and worked on the Canadian Pacific Railroad on the West coast, later joining the Canadian paratroop battalion in the Arctic Mobile Striking Force in Northern Canada. He eventually settled in New Zealand in 1965.
