Description

The Hunting of Force Z. The brief, controversial life of the modern battleship, and its tragic close with the destruction of the 'Prince of Wales' and 'Repulse' by Richard Hough. Force Z was the name given to a British battlefleet that sailed to Singapore in the autumn of 1941. This copy is from a private lending library and has all the usual stamps and markings. The dust jacket is in a fair condition with chips out of the top and bottom spine area and remnants of a previous clear cover being removed. The book has been well read and has noticeable general staining along the page edges and some internal page creasing. The book has been since covered in removable Mylar clear cell.
