Press on Regardless records the experiences. humourous, dramatic and other-wise which its author, his wife Jessica, and their younger son, Roger encountered while completing the second leg of a trip around the world by car. Early in 1955 the trio drove from London to Sydney through the Middle East in a Hillman Husky. Mr. Thwaites' book Husky be my Guide, published soon after their arrival home, proved tremendously popular and we see no reason why Press on Regardless shouldn't achieve a similar success. His latest book covers a large portion of the North American Continent, i.e; Canada, the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Etc. Shortly after landing in Canada, the party suffered the first of numerous set-backs. One, their car hadn't arrived from England; would be three weeks late; a most serious delay in view of Central America's rainy season. Two, information previously gleaned had indicated that the Inter-American Highway, was, at long last, a reality. The dust jacket has much tape repair and price unclipped. The book remains in a very tidy, tight and bright condition.
