We learn of how the plague penetrated the defences and of the solemn Vow made by the villagers to present the story of the Passion of Christ, in a play to be performed for all to see, every tenth year - for ever - if the toll of death should cease. The dust jacket has light to medium general wear with small chips on the top and bottom spine cover. the clear laminate is lifting down the spine edges but the price is unclipped. The book has a tear on the last index page but overall - remains tight and bright.
