This booklet is intended simply as an entertainment. A chance to get away from formal history and look at New Zealand's nineteenth century pioneer railways and the people they were built to serve. Except for a very few items that suited the mood of the work I have relied on vintage press reports and avoided extracts from recent histories. The booklet has light general wear with some small stains and creases but overall tight andbright.
