The Story of Topsy. Little Lonely of Central Asia by Mildred Cable and Francesca French. 'Scene: The Chinese town called Spring-of-Wine which is situated at the western extremity of the Great Wall. To the north lies Mongolia and on the south id Tibet. The town is at the foot of the snow-clad Richthofen Mountain Range. In one corner of the town is a courtyard where three missionaries live. In this story they are called the Grey Lady, the Blue Lady and the Brown Lady, because they wear Chinese dress of these colours.' From the front page of this book. The book has medium general wear with bumps on the corners and the binding is becoming a little lose. The page edges have light foxing and there is some foxing on the inside front and back pages. The book does appear to have all illustrations and photographs present.
