'This book presents a unique vision of many aspects of life through the eyes of members of The Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ). Many of the images have received international awards as well as recognition in national and regional salons and competitions run by camera clubs affiliated to PSNZ. Most of the photographs were made in New Zealand. The book also includes images from the Society's members travelling or living overseas. More than 300 members submitted a total of 601 images from which 165 were selected for publication. The images are preceded by an essay by Freeman Patterson, 'The Call of Creativity'. The dust jacket has light general wear with some scuffing and light spot stains but the book remains tight and bright.
