Jan Son of Finn
Description
Jan Son of Finn by A. J. Dawson. Illustrated by Richard Kennedy. 'This is a sequel to 'Finn the Wolfhound', by the same author. Like that book, it will be enjoyed principally by 8-14 year-olds with an interest in animals, but many adults will find it a good light read as well. It describes how Jan, a wolfhound/bloodhound cross, came to be born, and details his early years in Sussex, and his formative experiences during that period. He is then taken to Saskatchewan, where his keeper is a trooper in the North-West Canadian Mounted Police, and begins a series of adventures that make this book into a page-turner.' The dust jacket has medium general wear and has a clear lastic cover fitted. The book has light foxing down the page edges but remains tight and bright.
