Private Parts: Lost Property from the Last 16 years by Tom Scott. ' After being conceived on the banks of the Blackwater River in Waterford Ireland, was in due course born in Hammersmith, London, and transported aboard the Tamaroa at the age of 18 months to New Zealand in 1949. Raised in the Manawatu, he was educated at Lytton Street School, Fielding Agricultural High School and Massey university. For ten years he was the parliamentary correspondent for the Listener. He joined the Auckland Star in 1984 where he continued to write and illustrate his own columns on politics. In 1987 he became the Evening Post's editorial cartoonist. He has published three books of selected columns.' The book has medium general wear but remains tight and bright.
