Cross-Country Cars from 1945 by the Olyslager Auto Library. 'This book deals with four-wheel drive and other special vehicles designed to carry passengers over rough ground, as well as on roads. Some 250 specimens are illustrated and described. The design of many of these vehicles can be traced back to the ubiquitous wartime American 'Jeep' and the German 'kubelwagen', although the latter type, featuring four doors and soft-top, was made by only a few manufacturers, mainly in Communist countries.' The dust jacket has light to medium wear but the book remains tight and bright.
