Just Where Do You Think You've Been? Paul Powell was the leader of a four-man climbing party marooned by impossible weather for nine days in a snowcave near Mt Aspiring. On the last day they were dramatically flown out to Wanaka by Don Middleton of Mount Cook Airlines. When he returned to his family at Albert Town, chastened but feeling a little heroic, the attractive wife of one of his friends greeted him with quizzical exasperation - "And just where do you think you've been?"
